Marc Dunning

Marc is a member of our Environmental, Litigation, Labour & Employment, Municipal, Regulatory/Administrative, and Bankruptcy / Insolvency services areas. With his background as a Professional Engineer and former environmental consultant Marc represents clients in all things environmental, particularly contaminated sites, as well as builders' liens and construction disputes and professional liability claims. Marc has a significant municipal law practice, advising municipalities on governance and conflict of interest, by-laws and contract and tender matters. He represents municipalities before the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board on planning appeals and utility applications. Marc has particular experience in the area of joint municipal services including solid waste management. Marc also represents financial institutions and debtors in insolvency and restructuring matters.
