Peter Nathanson

I practice law because of the human relationships it invites. I enjoy the process of helping clients in practical and creative ways. My practice involves an iconoclastic mix of corporate/commercial law, health law, municipal law, litigation and property law. I have been very fortunate to represent individuals, small businesses, multi-national companies and institutions. My experience ranges from residential purchases and sales to commercial transactions involving millions of dollars. I have litigated matters in the contexts of employment law, commercial law, personal injury and construction law. I have appeared before all levels of Court in Nova Scotia, as well as at administrative tribunals, arbitrations and mediations. I have been involved with a number of charitable and service organizations, and have served as the Chair of the Acadia Cinema Co-Operative, a founding member of the Bio-Ethics Committee of the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, a founding member of the Research Ethics Board of Acadia University. I am a past President of the Kings County Barristers Society.
