Melanie M. Carter

Melanie Carter is a respected family lawyer in Calgary, Alberta. She has experience with the legal and other issues that arise within family dynamics. Melanie has worked with people from all backgrounds resulting in a strong understanding of the complexity of these dynamics. She has therapeutic training stemming from her work at Hull Child and Family Services from 1993 to 2013. Prior to starting my law career I worked for 16 years at Hull Child and Family Services in Calgary.  My education and training, my experience at Hull and other organizations has resulted in a wealth of knowledge and the skills needed to deal effectively with the issues that arise from the breakdown of relationships.   I worked a great deal with children and youth in my previous career and developed a keen understanding of the impact felt by children when the family unit dissolves.
