Mark was called to the bar in April of 2003 after completing his articles at the Firm of Williams, Roebothan, McKay & Marshall. In 2004 he joined the firm Rogers Bussey Lawyers, being invited into the partnership in 2010. In 2014, he and Richard Rogers founded the firm Rogers & Associates and in 2015, went on to form Rogers Rogers Moyse. Mark has argued many cases at various levels of the court system, including the Provincial Court of Newfoundland, the Supreme Court General Division, the Court of Appeal, Federal Court Trial Division and the Federal Court of Appeal. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association. Mark’s practice focuses primarily on personal injury litigation. He is highly skilled at dealing with personal injury cases and Long-Term Disability insurance policies and has represented many clients who have been unfairly denied Long-Term Disability Benefits. Besides his knowledge and experience, Mark is also known for his diligent, no-nonsense approach when representing his clients. He has been described as professional, proactive, efficient, and a “straight-shooter”. He also believes in being easily accessible to his clients; answering and returning phone calls and emails immediately or as soon as possible.
