Gavin Wolch

Gavin Wolch is the son of Hersh Wolch Q.C., who was widely recognized amongst the best lawyers to ever practice in Canada. With the benefit of his father’s mentorship, Gavin defends every category of criminal case. He conducts trials and appeals, regulatory defence, advises businesses on criminal law, and will consult on any issue related to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Gavin completed his articles of clerkship and began his career as a lawyer with Greenspan Partners LLP, based in Toronto, where he had the privilege of being trained by and working closely with the late Edward L. Greenspan Q.C. and Julianna A. Greenspan. With Greenspan Partners LLP, Gavin worked on a wide variety of cases at all levels of court including: large scale frauds, criminal organization offences, serious violent offences including sexual offences, driving related offences, extraditions, drug offences, computer/technology offences, and regulatory matters. Gavin’s professional memberships and affiliations include: the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Law Society of Alberta, the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Canadian Bar Association, Criminal Defence Lawyers’ Association, the Criminal Trial Lawyers’ Association, and Student Legal Assistance. He annually attends the Federation of Law Societies National Criminal Law Program.
