David G.L. Buffett, KC

David Buffet is Counsel at Cox & Palmer’s St. John’s office. He has over 50 years of legal practice in civil litigation, personal injury, insurance law, criminal law, and employment law. His civil litigation practice has a heavy personal injury and insurance component, while his employment law practice includes acting as a labour arbitrator. David has appeared at all levels of Court including the Supreme Court of Canada, and is a graduate of Queen’s University Law School. He was admitted to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1975 and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2002.
