Steve graduated from Dalhousie University in 2016, was called to the bar in 2017, and has practiced in his hometown of Sydney, Nova Scotia ever since. Steve has appeared in contested hearings at various levels of court within Nova Scotia including: The Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, The Nova Scotia Supreme Court General Division, The Nova Scotia Supreme Court (Family Division), The Provincial Court of Nova Scotia, The Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia, and practices frequently in Probate Court, Domestic Violence Court, and Youth Justice Court.
