Pierre J. Comeau

Barrie was born in Lethbridge, raised in Calgary and attended university in Edmonton. He has practiced since 1978 as a tax and corporate commercial lawyer. Aside from corporate reorganizations and commercial transactions his practice is focused on owner-manager businesses, wills, succession and estate planning. He co-founded a local manufacturing company in 1980, and maintains the family's agricultural interests. Since 1993 Barrie has also worked as a mediator and arbitrator in selected practice areas. He is a member of the Law Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is also active in community work including the Lethbridge College, the University of Lethbridge, and the Rehabilitation Society of Southwestern Alberta to name a few.
