Patricia LeBlanc-Bird has been practicing law since 1983 when she was called to the New Brunswick bar, and has been an associate of the firm since 1990. Patricia was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, and is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980, concentrating her studies in the field of Political Science, and earned her Bachelor of Laws degree in 1982. Patricia has been a lecturer for the Business Law class at Crandall University and has provided seminars to community groups and business organizations on topics of current interest. Patricia has extensive experience in the areas of personal injury and insurance claims. Her preferred areas of practice include estate planning matters, real estate transactions and family issues. Patricia is a proponent of the collaborative law movement and is a certified practitioner of collaborative family law. A member of the Moncton Area Lawyers Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick, and the Canadian Bar Association, Patricia was appointed to a seat as Commissioner on the New Brunswick Board of Commissioners of Public Utilities in 2004. Patricia is also a member of the Christian Legal Fellowship, past President of Greater Moncton United Way and past Committee Chairperson with the Moncton Business and Professional Women's Club. She is an active member of the Greater Moncton YMCA, and has served on the Moncton YMCA Building Campaign Committee.
