Mitchell Eisen Certified Specialist in Criminal Law

On January 1st, 2020, Mitch Eisen opened the firm of Mitchell Eisen Professional Corporation operating as Cugelman & Eisen, after a long and successful law partnership with Bernard Cugelman who has transitioned through semi-retirement to Counsel to the firm. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University in Montreal and an L.L.B from the University of Toronto Law School, where he focused on criminal procedure and criminal litigation courses, winning awards in both those fields. After completing his Articles in criminal law, Mitch was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1991 and rapidly built a wealth of invaluable experience in all areas of criminal defence law, conducting trials before both judges and juries, preliminary hearings, appeals, bail hearings and Charter of Rights motions. Mitch is always straightforward with his clients, advising that while he can never guarantee a particular outcome at trial (no lawyer can), he can and does guarantee one hundred percent effort with no stones left unturned to obtain the best results for his clients.
