Matt Hodgson Lawyer

Matt practises Criminal Law and Civil Litigation. He is a past President of the Kingston Criminal Defence Lawyers Association and has sat on advisory boards for various organizations throughout Kingston providing insight and advice when required. Matt is the former Kingston area director for the Criminal Lawyers Association of Ontario. Born in Newfoundland, Matt has travelled extensively and lived throughout Ontario including Toronto, Hamilton, Windsor, London, and Ottawa, before returning to the Kingston area where he has strong family ties. Matt obtained a four year Honours History degree at the University of Western Ontario and then attended Queen’s Faculty of Law. Following his call to the Bar, Matt practiced for several years in Kitchener-Waterloo before co-founding Hodgson Sinnett in 2000.
