Kyle R. Kawanami

Kyle's practice is focused on civil litigation with an emphasis on creditors' rights, bankruptcy and insolvency matters, commercial disputes, and mortgage foreclosures. Kyle is currently the chair of the Northern Alberta Creditors Rights’ Section of the Canadian Bar Association.   Kyle's experience includes assisting in corporate lending, bankruptcy and corporate reorganization related proceedings including filing motions and briefs under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, matters relating to builders'  and garage keepers' liens and representing secured and unsecured creditors as well as trustees in bankruptcy, receivers and individuals and corporations in financial distress.
