Kemi L. Palmer

Kemi L. Palmer is a family lawyer practising in Orangeville, Ontario. She offers her clients family law services geared at a resolution of matters in an amicable and client-centred manner. Called to the Ontario Bar in February 2002, Ms. Palmer received her law degree from Osgoode Hall, York University. Ms. Palmer’s family law practice is restricted to high net worth/high conflict, family disputes which include property issues, businesses valuations, pension valuations, spousal support and children’s issues (decision making, parenting time, child support, section 7 expenses etc.). Ms. Palmer’s matters routinely involve third party professionals including certified business valuators, accountants, the Office of the Children’s lawyer, child protection agencies, mediators and arbitrators. Ms. Palmer has extensive contacts across the family law court system and associated organizations. She is the current President of the Dufferin County Law Association (2024-2026), a Dispute Resolution Officer for the Ministry of the Attorney General and the Superior Court of Justice (2025 - 2027), a member of the Federation of Ontario Law Associations (an association which represents Ontario's 46 county and district law associations, and through them, their members) and is a presenter for the Ministry of the Attorney General, Mandatory Information Program. Outside of her professional life, Ms. Palmer has travelled extensively and loves spending time with her family.
