Kalev is a commercial litigator with a focus on contentious insolvency matters. He acts for financial institutions and private lenders, including the region’s leading banks and credit unions, in bankruptcy, arrangement and reorganization proceedings. He has extensive experience with creditor/debtor disputes, debt enforcement and foreclosure. He also regularly acts for trustees, investors and commercial landlords. He has appeared before trial and appellate courts in Manitoba, British Columbia, Ontario and before the Tax Court of Canada.
