Jean Friesen Lawyer

Jean has been a lawyer since 1989. For at least the last 25 years, her practice has focused almost exclusively on family law and divorce. She has appeared before the court in Alberta at various levels including Provincial Court, Queen’s Bench and the Court of Appeal. As such, she is well acquainted with the emotional and financial cost of going to court and the devastating effect a courtroom battle can have on both parties, most importantly the children. For that reason, Jean now focuses on helping couples resolve the issues arising from separation without going to court.
