Cory A. Towriss Lawyer

Cory A. Towriss was born and raised in Princeton, British Columbia, but has spent the last 30 years living on Vancouver Island in both Campbell River and Victoria - finally settling in Duncan in 2008. Cory obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Vancouver Island University in 2003, and in 2008 she received her law degree from the University of Victoria. Cory was employed as a summer law student at Orchard & Company in 2007, and as an articled student in 2008/09. She was called to the Bar in June 2009 and practiced at Orchard & Company until its closure in December 2017. Cory Towriss Law Corporation opened in January 2018, specializing in Wills & Estate Planning, Powers of Attorney, Estate Administration & Probate, and Notary Public Services. Cory brings with her 10 years experience as a lawyer in the Cowichan Valley, as well as a background in small business ownership and management.
