Catherine DiMarco Partner

Called to the Ontario Bar in 2005, Catherine has practiced law for nearly a decade, primarily dealing with construction claims and general civil litigation. Catherine is an Executive member of the Ontario Bar Association Construction and Infrastructure Law Section, on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Construction Association and on the CCA Executive Committee.Catherine previously served a two-year term as a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Women in Construction. Catherine is one of the founding partners of Heal & Co. LLP after having practiced at a prominent Toronto-based full-service firm, including as a partner. Catherine was a member of the Architectural/Engineering Services Group (“ACES”) where she helped organize, and regularly spoke at, the ACES Group’s annual Construction Law Update on topics including rights and obligations relating to holdback funds and lien and trust remedies under the Construction Lien Act. Heal & Co. LLP is a member of the Toronto Construction Association, the Ontario General Contractors’ Association and the Canadian Construction Association. Catherine regularly leads Heal & Co.’s sponsorship, speaking and attendance at the events and seminars hosted by these organizations.
