Amicus Lawyers

Amicus Lawyers traces its beginning to November 1, 1991 when Michael Hwang and Cameron D. Pollock opened a small law office under the name Hwang, Pollock & Company at #201- 4075 Kingsway, Burnaby, B.C. After working together at a prominent law firm in Downtown Vancouver, they set out with two old desks, two "386" computers with a dot matrix printer, a fax machine and one phone with a long extension cord. While the tools and furniture of the practice have been upgraded many times, their dedication to client-centred service, community service, preventive advice and practical solutions remained as the four cornerstones of Amicus Lawyers. Amicus Lawyers is committed to making a positive impact in our community by creating a positive ripple effect through our staff, clients and community. Our efforts have been well supported by thousands of clients who trust us with their personal and business goals, and recognized by numerous awards including the "Readers' Choice Award" by The Record newspaper in 2011.
