Amicus Lawyers traces its beginning to November 1, 1991 when Michael Hwang and Cameron D. Pollock opened a small law office under the name Hwang, Pollock & Company at #201- 4075 Kingsway, Burnaby, B.C. After working together at a prominent law firm in Downtown Vancouver, they set out with two old desks, two "386" computers with a dot matrix printer, a fax machine and one phone with a long extension cord.
