After obtaining a degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto, Aila pursued her legal degree abroad. Upon completing her Juris Doctor degree at Bond University, Australia, Aila returned to Canada where she worked with a boutique immigration law firm. She then went on to pursue further legal training with Andrew Rogerson Professional Corporation and N. Gregory McNally & Associates, where she gained both domestic and international legal experience.
