Adam Harris Partner

Adam is a partner with Burchell MacDougall LLP and practices exclusively in civil litigation, including personal injury and insurance matters, debt claims, estate disputes, construction liens, labour and employment law, and corporate commercial litigation. Truro, Nova Scotia is Adam’s hometown, and he considers himself very fortunate to be able to return home to practice law and build his career. He graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Honours) and Biology, before attending University of Ottawa for law school. Adam decided to become a lawyer because he “wanted to do something useful and help people solve their problems.” He made the decision to join Burchell MacDougall because of the firm’s reputation for high quality legal work, community involvement and its collegial atmosphere.
