Adam Baker Lawyer

My name is Adam Baker. I am a general practice lawyer working in my home province of Newfoundland and Labrador in the City of Corner Brook, where I am a solo practice lawyer. These days my preferred areas of practice include Wills & Estates, Real Estate and incorporation and business organization, with a special interest in the construction sector.  But I advise and act for clients on many issues, including civil litigation and property disputes, business transactions, municipal and development issues, regulatory and criminal charges, and divorce and family matters. I have advocated for clients before various administrative tribunals, including the residential tenancies board, municipal regional appeals boards, and the Newfoundland and Labrador Human Rights Commission, and have had the privilege to appear before the Provincial Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Newfoundland and Labrador Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court of Canada, and to serve as amicus curiae to the Provincial Court of Newfoundland and Labrador.
