William Wister | Criminal Law
William Wister is a seasoned law professional with 28 years of experience in Criminal Law. William passed his bar in 1990 and has spent most of his distinguished career as a Crown Prosecutor in 3 different provinces (AB, NB and SK). He has the knowledge and expertise to pursue justice at all levels of appeals. William has shown tremendous leadership with his community initiatives outside of work. He was a teacher at Lethbridge College in the School of Justice Studies and taught students criminal procedural law, interviewing methods and public safety communications. William also volunteers with the Leavitt Institute for International Development in Moldova, teaching young lawyers and law students about the democratic approach to criminal justice. He has outstanding representative work in the community and stays active by sharing his valuable information with important groups such as; our respected Police forces in New Brunswick and the very valued staff of the RCMP. He brings a vast amount of knowledge to our criminal practice at Shim Law and will be looking forward to meeting you!
