Maryam Manteghi | Citizenship and Immigration, Criminal, Family
Maryam Manteghi is a Family, Immigration and Criminal lawyer with extensive experience at the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada as well as before all Divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board. She obtained her Honours B.A. at the University of Toronto and her L.L.B. from the University of Windsor. She attended Oxford University in the U.K. completing their joint program with George Washington University in International Human Rights Law. Ms. Manteghi has six years of experience working at International Criminal Tribunals and as an advocate at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her experience with refugees and displaced persons helped her understand the negative and long-lasting effects of conflict and trauma on families, especially children.
