Holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor or Social Work from St. Boniface College and the University of Manitoba. He completed his legal studies at the University of Moncton Law School and joined the firm in 1989. Since then, Leandre has developed a general practice focusing mostly in the areas of family law, litigation, wills and estates and contested estates. He provides some selected services in French. Leandre has completed a certificate course in alternative dispute resolution and training in collaborative law (collaborative divorce). He is a member of the Collaborative Family Lawyers and Divorce Professionals Association Inc. Leandre is originally from Saskatchewan, having moved to Winnipeg in 1967. Since then, he has been active in community organizations such as Les Scouts du Canada and La Societe Franco-Manitobain. Leandre also sat as a trustee on the first board of La Division Scolaire Franco-Manitobain, and for five years, served as chairman of the Canada Pension Plan Review Tribunal.
