The son of a German father and a Cape Breton mother, Keith was born and raised in Halifax. He joined Burchells as an associate lawyer immediately after being called to the bar in Nova Scotia in 2016. Keith has experience assisting clients with a broad range of matters, including intellectual property matters, corporate transactions, real estate, wills and estate administration, family law, and litigation support. He is particularly interested in the application of law to new and emerging technologies. Keith is the Vice-Chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Canadian Bar Association (Nova Scotia Branch). Outside the legal field, Keith is also a member of the board of directors of Xara Choral Theatre Society and the co-organizer and Speaker of the annual Halifax West High School Model Parliament. He has experience as an improv performer, a stage actor, and an a cappella singer.
