Jennie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Acadia University in 2011, and her JD with Distinction from the University of New Brunswick in 2014. She was an active member of her law school community as a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Fredericton Legal Advice Clinic, as a member of UNB's 2014 Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot team, and as an associate editor and then co-editor in chief of the UNB Law Journal. As a student in the UNB Faculty of Law, Jennie was awarded the Lord Beaverbrook Scholarship; the Law Faculty Council Prize for first, second, and third year; and the Lieutenant-Governor's Silver Medal.
