Ian N. McLean M.A.(Oxon.) LLB | Civil Litigation, Estates and Trusts
Ian's main areas of practice are criminal, civil litigation, real estate, employment law, municipal law, land valuation and expropriation. Ian, a native of Toronto, was educated at the University of Toronto and then studied law having won a McKenzie King Traveling Scholarship to Oxford University in England. He completed his legal education at Dalhousie University in Halifax and then articled at Weir and Foulds, a prominent Bay Street law firm in Toronto. Upon being called to the Bar, he was a member of what was then the Metropolitan Toronto Legal Department for 6 years dealing extensively with land valuation, planning issues, expropriation, all aspects of civil litigation involving a municipality and criminal prosecutions and defence.
